Dear Architectural Control Board Applicant,
Enclosed is a copy of the agenda for the
Architectural Control Board meeting at which you or your representative are to
appear with your request. Also enclosed is an application for zoning and/or
building permit.
If your request is approved by the
Architectural Control Board, you will need to fill out the building permit
application and return it to the Village hall with a check that totals $5.00
per $1,000.00 of construction for new construction and $7.00 per $1,000 for
remodeling, with a minimum fee of $35.00. Included with the application is an
affidavit to be signed by both the property owner and the building contractor
swearing that the building costs as listed are tree and correct. The affidavit
must be notarized and returned to the Village Hall at the time of application
for the building permit.
You will also need to contact the Waukesha
County Department of Parks and Land Use, Division of Environmental Health,
Once you have returned your application with
the appropriate fee, and we have received notification from the county that
your plans are acceptable, the building permit will be issued by the Village of
Oconomowoc Lake. Please contact the Village Hall if you have any questions
regarding the permit.
